I used to have the Natas Panther from when i was about ten until 14 (best board i ever had. this older guy convinced me to sell it to him when i got a new board, wish i kept it. i thought i would get another one some day or a better board. i wish i still had it. i do still have my Jim Thiebaud and i got Tony Hawk to sign it when he was on tour here in South Africa with Ray Barbie, i got Ray’s and Tony’s signature on a pink sweater.
After that i got an Alien Workshop which i still have it’s pale blue and the alien dace is scrathed off from board slides.

Still got my Jason Jesse Sungod (the gold one, not blue). Always wanted a Jeff Kendall Pumpkin. Great to see these graphics after all the years.

YES! My first deck was a silver Tony Hawk (bird skull) with hot pink griptape. Memories. Love the old graphics, Mark Gonzalez and the old Natas Kaupas were some favs back then. You can still get reissue MG decks although they don’t say Mark Gonzalez anymore, they just say, “The Original Vision”

Patterns can be original these days, since new designs moved far from this kind of style. But I think it will look cheap when you don’t use them very well balanced and integrated in the overall style. Else it will just look like a fifteen year old website (which is of course cool when you want that)…
